The roads into the the City Center will close at 2 pm. Visitors can park at the following municipal lots: Court Street, Leonard Street Parking Deck (behind Pacheco's Jewelry), Trescott Street, Galligan's Court (behind El Mariachi), the lot behind the Police Station and City Hall. GATRA will be offering a free shuttle service to and from the parking lot at Bristol Community College @Coyle Cassidy High School (2 Hamilton Street, Taunton) from 3:00to 8:30 PM. The Bus will drop riders off at Bristol County Savings Bank on Broadway. BUTTON SALES (beginning in Nov):

PUBLIC RESTROOMS: Accessible restrooms are available at Winthrop Street Baptist Church, Old Colony History Museum, Taunton Public Library, Taunton City Hall, Pilgrim Church, and Trescott Street Gallery. There will also be temporary restrooms at Knotty Walk, Court Street, Cedar Street and the Seeley Lot. FOOD VENUES Downtown Taunton hosts a number of restaurants that will be open and offering food and beverages before, during, and after the Lights On Festival. Consider supporting one of these small businesses while you are Downtown on Saturday December 4th and throughout the Holiday season! There will also be a number of food trucks at the event vending food. The food trucks will be located in front of the Superior Court House, across from the Taunton Green. It is recommended that parents take a picture of their children once you arrive at the festival. Pictures of kids and what they are wearing at the actual event are very helpful in the unfortunate & unlikely event that your child becomes lost at the festival. Police will be able to quickly share the current photo with emergency staff onsite and find your child quickly. If you or someone in your party needs medical assistance at the event, please notify a police officer right away and they will call for medical assistance. |
